When doubt creeps in, faith does not have to stand alone. This reflection on Philippians 1:6 explores how God uses community, testimony, and truth to remind us that He will finish what He started, even on the days we struggle to believe it ourselves.
There is a shift that happens when you move from surviving to walking in promise.
In Joshua 5, God reveals what it looks like when His word is no longer something you are waiting on, but something you are stepping into. The shame is removed, the enemy is already in fear, and the provision that sustained you in survival is no longer needed.
But this kind of transition does not happen without obedience.
The same God who spoke the promise is the One who fulfills it… and when we walk in covenant with Him, nothing can stop what He has ordained.
A simple search for a photo took me down Memory Lane and reminded me of how faithful God has been from 2001 to now. Philippians 1 verse 6, Psalm 37 verse 23, and Isaiah 60 verse 22 anchor my heart in this truth. When the time is right, He will make it happen.
When Moses reminded Israel in Deuteronomy 10 of God’s covenant, he pointed to their growth from seventy souls in Egypt to a nation as numerous as the stars. “And now look at you. God did that.”
Those words are more than history. They are a testimony. Just as God fulfilled His promise to Abraham, He is still fulfilling promises today. When I look at my own life, my career, my health, my relationships, I can only say with certainty: God did that.
“Some are drawn to miracles, not the Miracle Worker.”
