For years I believed I was whole, but God revealed that I had become skilled at managing fragmentation. Through Scripture, the story of Jacob, and the revelation of El Roi, the God who sees, I began to understand that God was not creating a new person. He was revealing the person He had fashioned from the beginning.
This weekend, God revealed something powerful to me about emotions, movement, and the condition of our hearts. Through Genesis 30, 2 Kings 17, and a message on the heart at church, I realized how easily emotions can move us outside of God’s will when they become our compass instead of the Holy Spirit. This is a reflection on conviction, surrender, and allowing God to perform heart surgery within us.
Life with God does not mean avoiding storms. It means learning how to rest in the middle of them. A reflection on turbulence, trust, and resting in God as the ultimate Pilot through every season of life.
As we enter the month of May, we are invited to pause and reflect. Just as God established memorials for His people to remember His faithfulness, this is a time to look back on the past five months and recognize how He has brought you through every challenge. What felt overwhelming then is now a testimony. Write it down, remember it, and let it strengthen your faith for what is ahead.
When doubt creeps in, faith does not have to stand alone. This reflection on Philippians 1:6 explores how God uses community, testimony, and truth to remind us that He will finish what He started, even on the days we struggle to believe it ourselves.
There is a shift that happens when you move from surviving to walking in promise.
In Joshua 5, God reveals what it looks like when His word is no longer something you are waiting on, but something you are stepping into. The shame is removed, the enemy is already in fear, and the provision that sustained you in survival is no longer needed.
But this kind of transition does not happen without obedience.
The same God who spoke the promise is the One who fulfills it… and when we walk in covenant with Him, nothing can stop what He has ordained.
