This weekend, God revealed something powerful to me about emotions, movement, and the condition of our hearts. Through Genesis 30, 2 Kings 17, and a message on the heart at church, I realized how easily emotions can move us outside of God’s will when they become our compass instead of the Holy Spirit. This is a reflection on conviction, surrender, and allowing God to perform heart surgery within us.
There is a shift that happens when you move from surviving to walking in promise.
In Joshua 5, God reveals what it looks like when His word is no longer something you are waiting on, but something you are stepping into. The shame is removed, the enemy is already in fear, and the provision that sustained you in survival is no longer needed.

Those words are more than history. They are a testimony. Just as God fulfilled His promise to Abraham, He is still fulfilling promises today. When I look at my own life, my career, my health, my relationships, I can only say with certainty: God did that.
Deuteronomy 9 reminds us that the promised land is not just about milk and honey, it requires our active participation. God has already gone before us as a consuming fire, but He calls us to rise up, step forward, and manifest what He has promised. As Pastor John Hannah declared, this is the Year of Manifestation.
